Did you feel the need to be told that? If so, then you just may be one of the many citizens of our great nation suffering from an amazing malady that knows no age, gender, race, religion, sexual preference or political affiliation. And this malady is known as the `idiocy virus.` Compiled within is a unique collection of various newspaper stories and articles, painstakingly gathered over a ten year span, highlighting some rather bizarre behavior from John & Jane Q. Public during the dawning of a new century, including:

-A jury member who takes her dedication to Star Trek just a little too seriouly.
-A drunkard who has his 12-year-old son drive him home in his pick-up truck.
-A woman who gets arrested for dealing drugs, while on trial for dealing drugs.
-Two paramedics who create playing cards using photos of their victims.
-A babysitter who quits her post by tossing her charge into an alligator-infested swamp.

About the Author:  James Alexander was born the fourth of six children in a small New Jersey town, growing up with aspirations of becoming either an illustrator or a writer. Not long after graduating from a commercial art college in 1982, Mr. Alexander entered the graphic arts field, where he remained for the next twenty years. In 2004, Mr. Alexander left the graphic arts industry to write his first novel, `The Hindering,` a horrific true story of the darkest hour of his life. Following its release, the author then dedicated himself to the construction and publication of this, his second book. In 2002, Mr. Alexander married his wife Jane, and they live happily together in New Jersey to this day.
