Eight-year-old Keely Raymond, known as Razor to his friends, moved with his parents and now lives in Marseille, France. He often stays with his friends at Madame Meaneval's extended care while his parents travel. One day a new kid, Kuhn Ling, arrives from Thailand and brings wonderful stories of pirates, kings, monsters and spies! Life is never the same after that for Razor and his friends! Razor and Remi (Razor's best friend, a girl from Venezuela) are entranced by Kuhn Ling's wonderful stories. One day Remi claims that Kuhn Ling is making the story up, that's when Kuhn shows her a shiny gold coin the size of a really big cookie! On the back of the coin is a map... perhaps a map to a real treasure!When the three kids begin their adventure they quickly meet Anant who is from India. He wears a white sheet on his head which he explains is a turban. Follow the adventures of these four kids as they outrun and outwit some of the toughest pirates, gangsters and bad guys you ever will meet!

ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Scott Nelowet was born in 1965 and raised in Colorado, the son of two successful entrepreneurs. Scott lives with his wife Jennifer and their daughter Abby in Jacksonville, Florida.
ABOUT THE ARTIST: Mike Carnegie was born in Ottawa, Canada. He pursued a
BFA in illustration at one of Canada's more prestigious art schools,
Ontario College of Art and furthered his education with an MFA in
Graphic Design from the Miami International University. Mike makes his
living as an artist and instructor at the Art Institute of Fort
Lauderdale.
