He names the place "Heartless" and calls upon the spirits to force the white man to leave it alone or face certain madness and a horrible death.

About the Author: Author Farral Bradtke was born and raised in the United States' Midwest and has traveled extensively throughout the United States and Canada. She has a special interest in both the human psyche and in paranormal events and how the two sometimes interact.

Ms. Bradtke has worked in medical and educational fields for thirty-six years and enjoys writing about all of the possibilities of the human soul: good, evil, and all there is in between. She presently lives and writes in western North Carolina.
